This is a great product. It came with a QR code that when scanned brought me to an installation video about 3 minutes long. Overall it probably took about 20 minutes to install. (After previous door knob was off and with no complications) The various ways it can be unlocked is great for multiple people’s likings. Personally the fingerprint scanner is my favorite and it has not had any problems so far. Other family members like to use the fobs as well as the app, which are all easy to use. As far as the app goes it is simple to set up and add new ways to unlock. There are also other settings to tailor the lock to your liking. For example, the lock speaks but if that is not preferred it can be shut off. Overall this has been a great product so far.
We have never used a smart lock before. Overall it was definitely a breeze to install the lock after watching the video once. The lock mechanism’s orientation has to be correct. I had to redo that part which only took an extra 1 minute (This was explained in the video very well). The lock looks perfect with our original door hardware. After downloading the app, the rest of set up was very straight forward. It has a fingerprint feature which works great for the older kids. The lock also works with customizable codes. The app has a battery percentage indicator so there should be no reason to be caught off guard with low battery lock out issues. This is our very first smart door lock. We love it.
Love love love this lock!! Easy to install, has several different ways to unlock it (including an actual manual key if the electronics every go out on it) which is wonderful! We had a previous lock that only had fingerprint and when the battery went dead we were locked out of the room. Also if your finger was wet it wouldn't work. Very annoying. THIS lock however has so many different ways to open it including remotely from your phone! Fingerprint feature works perfectly. Our old lock (not this brand) would let anyone in. The app downloaded quickly and seamlessly and the lock is very customizable for anyone's needs! We will definately be purchasing more of these!!! Feels very durable and solid!!
